If you would like to commission a portrait then this page will take you through the easy process. A portrait of your pet is a wonderful way to remember such a valued member of the family and to do so, I work from your favourite photographs to achieve a highly detailed drawing that showcases all your pets characteristics and their character. Due to this, I do require high quality images of your pet, so that every effort can be taken to ensure that your portrait is perfect. This takes a great deal of time and patience.
step 1: sizes

I offer a variety of sizes from A4 (small) to A2 (large), although custom sizes are available on request. Your choice may be dependent on budget or the number of pets in your portrait.

step 2: Choosing a photo

Choose a clear photo that you would like to be drawn. Check out my photo guide for tips to choose the perfect photo! The clearer the photo, the better detail of your photo, the more detail I will be able to capture in your portrait. If you can't decide, you can email me your photographs and we can discuss together.
I do not include backgrounds in the portrait so please keep this in mind. |
step 3: Contact me

Once you have chosen your photo(s) and decided on the type of commission you would like, please contact me. Please also mention if you have any specific deadlines such as birthdays or anniversaries.
Please note, I usually have a waiting list but I will confirm an approximate start time for your portrait, and I will always try my best to fit in a specific deadline if I am able to. Prior to starting your portrait I will message you a mock-up of a layout which allows you to have an idea of what your completed drawing will look like. |

I will message you before I start your portrait so that you can watch the progress on my Facebook page or Instagram. This gives you the chance to comment and see how your portrait progresses.
If your portrait is a surprise please let me know if you would like me to not post it on social media, in case it spoils the gift. I will send you private messages to keep you informed of the progress instead. |
Completion
|
Once your portrait is complete, I will email you a photo of the completed work for your approval. At this stage, only minor adjustments may be available. Upon full satisfication, an invoice will be sent to you for full payment. Your portrait will not be delivered until payment is received in full.
Your portrait will be securely wrapped and packaged and sent out to you ready to be framed and hung in your home. |
